No screen can show you your own pencils. Tap Match my pencils, then each feather, and choose the nearest colour to the pencil in your tin.
Tap a feather, then tap the round swatch under its name to choose your pencil’s colour. Tap Done when every feather looks like your pencils.
That photo would not open here. Try a JPEG or PNG, or take a new photo.
On an iPhone, add the wheel to your Home Screen first (see Guide), so your colours stay with it.
The colour under the marker leads. The feathers that stay bright are the colours that go with it, for the way to choose you picked. Opposite feathers are complements.
Each feather runs from light at its tip, a pencil pressed lightly, to deep at its base, the colour built up with its opposite over it.
At the top, Pencil shows the colours with the grain of a pencil on paper, and Flat shows them as clean, flat colour, in the same bands.

Swatch each pencil on paper, take a photo in daylight, then under My pencils tap From a photo. Tap the white paper first so the wheel can allow for the light, then tap each swatch as it asks.
Pick a colour and find the feather opposite it. Those two are a pair, and there are two ways to use them.
On an iPhone, open this page in Safari, tap Share (it may sit under the ••• button), then Add to Home Screen.
On Android, open your browser’s menu and choose Install app, or Add to Home screen.
From then on it opens with no signal, wherever you colour.
Swatch each pencil firmly on white paper, or use the Firm row of the strip on Choosing your colours. Take the photo close, in daylight, so each swatch is easy to tap.
